Transworld Steel Joins Taiwan Delegation to Explore the Future of Smart Manufacturing and Sustainability in Europe

Transworld Steel Enterprise Co., Ltd. recently had the honor of representing Taiwan as part of an international delegation organized by the Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA). Alongside esteemed representatives from the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI)(工業技術研究院, 工研院), ASUS, Advantech, MSI, and other prominent Taiwanese companies, we embarked on a journey to Austria, Denmark, and the Czech Republic to discuss advancements in smart manufacturing.
During this visit, we participated in:
The 3rd Taiwan-Denmark Joint Business Council Meeting
The 14th Taiwan-Austria Economic Cooperation Conference
The 19th Session of the Taiwan-Czech Joint Business Council Meeting
The team also visited prominent European companies such as Scan Global Logistics and Škoda Auto to gain valuable insights into upcoming initiatives like the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and Digital Product Passports, enhancing our approach to sustainability.
Upon returning to Taiwan, we were honored to attend a meeting and dinner hosted by CTP and the Czech Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, where we continued building valuable connections and exploring potential collaborations.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Danish Industry, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA, and the Svaz průmyslu a dopravy ČR / Confederation of Industry CZ for their warm hospitality. Special thanks to CIECA for their meticulous planning and organization, making this opportunity possible.
This experience has provided us with invaluable insights, strengthened international connections, and enriched our understanding of the future of smart manufacturing and sustainable development. We look forward to applying these insights to advance our industry!
